What methods are available to receive SMS?

DIDWW offers a choice of methods to integrate SMS text messaging:

SMS-to-Email - Short messages sent to a specific DID number are forwarded to an email account.
SMS-to-HTTP - delivering short messages to HTTP web services.
SMPP standard - a protocol used to receive SMS messages using Short Message Service Centers (SMSC) or External Short Messaging Entities (ESME) gateways.
