DID Number pricing has two parts: NRC and MRC. NRC (Non-Recurring Cost) is the one-time activation fee, equal to one month’s MRC, charged when you purchase a number. MRC (Monthly Recurring Cost) is the ongoing monthly charge for keeping the number active. NRC is automatically waived when numbers are purchased through the DIDWW API. Numbers are billed monthly and auto-renew until canceled. ### Are there any long-term contracts with DIDWW? No. DIDWW pricing runs month-to-month with no long-term contracts. DIDs, Capacity, and other services can be canceled at any time, and creating an account is free. ### Is there a minimum account balance to get started? Yes. A $30 minimum account balance is required to activate your account before ordering numbers or voice services. This covers your first charges and can be applied toward any DIDWW voice or local calling service. ### How can I get lower per-number rates? Subscribing to a Tier Program (Tier 1 through Tier 5) lowers your MRC per number, based on a Minimum Monthly Commitment (MMC) you choose. Unused MMC funds carry over month to month as long as you stay subscribed, so higher local calling volume becomes cheaper. ### Is voice capacity included in the DID Number price? Only for DID+2 numbers, which bundle 2 dedicated channels. For DID+0 numbers, or additional channels beyond what’s bundled, voice capacity is billed separately through [Capacity](https://www.didww.com/services/capacity) - flat-rate, metered, or hybrid - so local calling volume can scale independently of the number itself. ### Does pricing differ between DID+0 and DID+2 numbers? Yes. DID+0 numbers carry no bundled voice channels and must be assigned to a Capacity group, so the MRC runs lower since capacity is purchased separately. DID+2 numbers include 2 dedicated voice channels in the price, at a slightly higher MRC, with capacity already covered.
