Why I Cannot Dial Local Number without Country and City Code?Problem: To reach my DID I can only dial the intentional number and not just the local phone number although the call is placed from the same city as the DID number.
Answer: The DID is a virtual number which belongs to VoIP network and not to the PSTN network. The VoIP number has different dialing rules from PSTN number. The DID should be dialed in E.164 format over the world including country-code+city-code+phone number.
Therefore, you have to dial full DID number.
