How to Add a New Mapping? How to Add a New Mapping?

Mapping is the connection between your DID number provided by DIDWW and your destination, which can be any of your chosen mobile or land line numbers, some VoIP, VoIM provider and etc.

In order to make your DID number work, please proceed in the following sequence:

1) choose the type of mapping that is compatible with your system;

2) configure it according to the parameters of your system;

3) go to the section "My DIDs" and assign each DID with the appropriate mapping.

Creating a New Mapping:

1. Enter your account and proceed to the section "Mapping" (Figure 1).

2. Choose your desired mapping and read the instructions below on how to configure each of them (Figure 2).

1)  URI - This option will allow you to route your DIDs with advanced setting possibilities, using multiple configuration parameters.

2)   VOIP – This option will allow you to route your DIDs to your VoIP numbers and VoIP accounts, using just the very basic system configuration parameters.

3)  Custom - This option will allow you to route your DIDs to your VoIP numbers with advanced setting possibilities. Above all other things, Custom Mapping gives you a possibility to modify the number that appears in your SIP Request Line and allows you to send the DID "as is" in the e.164 format.

4)   PSTN - This option will allow routing your DIDs to one PSTN number.

5)   GTALK - This option will allow routing your DIDs to your Google Talk account.

6)   SKYPE - This option will allow routing your DIDs to your Skype account.

3. Configure your mapping.

URI Mapping Configuration:

1. Friendly name – specify a name of your choice that would let you easily distinguish this mapping from the rest of your created mappings. This is especially important when using more than one mapping (Figure 3).
