Can I Map the DID to VoIP Provider that is not In the List of Supported Providers? Can I Map the DID to VoIP Provider that is not In the List of Supported Providers?

It is possible to map VoIP provider that is not in the tested VoIP providers in other ways. You can use those ways, for example, if DIDWW tests were failed with this provider but you still want to use it.

There are two ways to add VoIP provider that is not in the list:

·        Using Custom mapping

·        Using URI mapping

Using Custom mapping

1.    Enter your account at http://www.didww.com/ and go to Mapping page (Figure 1).

Access Mapping Page in your Account

2.    In the Mapping page access Custom mapping (Figure 2).

3.    Fill in the following information:

·        Friendly name – Specify name by your choice that you will be able to recognize this mapping easily, choosing the name is really important when you have many mappings (Figure 3).

·        IP address or domain – Select your IP address or domain of your VoIP provider, for example: 192.168.100.100 or sip.voip.com (Figure 3).

·        Protocol – Select the protocol that your VoIP provider is using: SIP / IAX / H.323 (Figure 3).

·        Preferred server – Select the preferred server, choose the server that is the closest to your location (Figure 3).

·        Default mapping– Select this checkbox if you wish that all new DIDs will be assigned to this default mapping (Figure 4).
